This award winning documentary film explores the growing global threat of genetically engineered trees to our environment and to human health. The film features renowned geneticist and host of PBS The Nature of Things, David Suzuki, who explores the unknown and possibly disastrous consequences of improperly tested GE methods. Many scientists and activists are interviewed in the film, which serves as an effective and succinct tool for understanding the complex issue of GE trees. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO MONSANTO (109 Minutes, 2008) – a documentary by Marie-Monique Robin
Originally released in French as Le Monde Selon Monsanto, the film is based on Marie-Monique Robin’s three-year long investigation into the corporate practices around the world of the United States agricultural giant, Monsanto. The World According to Monsanto is also a book written by Marie-Monique Robin, winner of the Rachel Carson Prize (a Norwegian prize for female environmentalists), which has been translated into many languages.

LET US SPRAY (70 minutes, 2006) – a documentary by TV3 New Zealand
Let Us Spray is a TV3 New Zealand feature-length exposé, now censored in New Zealand, about the use of Dow’s 2,4,5-T and 2,4-D in New Zealand between 1962 and 1981. Generations of disease devastated families were left without answers due to two decades of denial and collusion between eco-terrorist company Dow Chemical and government regulatory agencies. The documentary special, produced and reported by Keith Slater and Melanie Reid, respectively, won the Qantas Award.
