Pat Thomas is an author, journalist, f ormer editor of the Ecologist magazine and long-term environmental and health campaigner. She has run diverse campaigns including for Paul McCartney’s Meat-Free Monday, Compassion in World Farming’s fight against the UK’s first mega-dairy and top organic cosmetics company Neal’s Yard Remedies . In 2011, her campaign, Cows Belong in Fields, won the Observer Ethical Award for Campaigner of the Year for CIWF. Pat was inducted into Who’s Who in 2014 and is a trustee of the investigative media agency Eyewitness. She edits NYR Natural News – a campaigning natural health website and is a founder/director of the UK initiative Beyond GM.
